President Trump, and not obliquely, has put the assassination of Vladimir Putin “on the table” as part of a new policy, one at direct odds with both American and international law.  This isn’t just a broad policy against those Washington deems enemies, but Russia was specifically listed as a target for highest level assassinations in order to achieve regime change.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, during a policy address at Stanford University’s Hoover Institute on January 13, 2020, outlined the new policy. The title of the speech was “The Restoration of Deterrence, the Iranian Example.”

The Hoover institution has a long history of CIA ties and receives secretive private funding from a variety of “strange bedfellows:”

• The Bradley Foundation, cited by the Council of Islamic American relations for Islamophobia and hate mongering.
• The Scaife Family Foundation, long run by now deceased Richard Mellon Scaife, right wing extremist billionaire who employed an army of private security operatives used to threaten members of the press, including involvement in the death of Steve Kangas, founder of America’s independent press.
• The Castle Rock Foundation, a front for Adolf Coors, one of the largest funders of right-wing extremism and Russophobia in the United States
• The Koch Foundation, largest funder for climate denialism through profits from the coal industry

Former President Herbert Hoover, long blamed for failing to address the needs of a starving nation during the first 4 years of the great depression, for whom the Hoover Institution is named, was a powerful advocate for allowing and possibly even supporting Hitler in his war against Russia.

Only recently, after being suppressed for 50 years, has Herbert Hoover’s World War II analysis, “Freedom Betrayed,” been published, by the Hoover Institution.  In that work, the “betrayal” was entering the war against Hitler and fighting alongside Russia.

You see, TDC or “top dead center” for American conservatives has always been the destruction of Russia and the subjugation of the Russian people on behalf of the Deep State.

Blacklist, Monsters Among US

Hundreds of thousands travel freely among us, some even live as our neighbors, teach in our schools, borrow from our banks. They are war criminals, they have murdered, raped, run narcotics, been involved in arms and sex trafficking and are, in some cases, honored as heroes.

Who are these individuals, those brutalized by war, those who murder children, who wipe out villages, who arm and aid ISIS or run heroin out of Afghanistan? Who are those who have strafed the beaches of Gaza, gunning down running children or driven bulldozers over huddling families? Let us take a quick look.

Today the US is considering blacklisting the Iranian Republican Guards who have been fighting ISIS for years. This is Trump of course, infamous fraudster whose endless coffers have silenced dozens, even hundreds of sex assault victims. He is the “decider.”

When I served in Vietnam as a Marine, I expected to be blacklisted from travel after returning. Units I served with were accused of murdering civilians and some of those I served with abused civilians though when I was present, I physically intervened on more than one occasion. As a low ranking non-commissioned officer, I couldn’t be everywhere and the orders to kill civilians came from the top, from Annapolis grads who stressed body counts and not asking embarrassing questions. Thus, I was surprised when I was never questioned, never put under prohibition, never asked to account for my actions where millions of innocents had been slaughtered.

I see not just the same thing today, I see so much worse. There is no question that the US is involved in, as with Vietnam, pushing brutal dictatorships on freedom loving people around the world. We did it in Afghanistan, we did it in Iraq, we tried it in Syria and by my own accounts we are still aiding ISIS, still trying to subject millions to brutal slavery.

We are doing it in nation after nation, perhaps in every nation.

How many Americans are involved? It used to be only military. Now contractors are involved, tens of thousands, up to 400,000, some American paid, some paid by Saudis or big corporations. They operate everywhere, stealing oil and minerals, running human slaves, overseeing the world’s drug trafficking, all fully partnered with governments, able to move at will across any border, running private airlines, running torture prisons, concentrations camps, leaving behind endless mass graves of their victims and no questions asked.

Then there are the insidious tech companies, something we will get into later, who set a new standard of evil.

Long ago, America turned a blind eye to those who choose to fight for Israel. The big lie, that Israel had been attack by Arabs in 1967, sent so many to train and fight, not knowing the whole thing a farce, fiction and propaganda.

Decades later, Americans train in Israel, they come back like Jonathan Pollard, one of thousands, to spy on America, to continue to serve their “foreign princes,” as long prohibited by the constitution. While in Israel, they ethnically cleanse, they man sniper towers, they bulldoze homes or, less well known, they train ISIS, supply them with intelligence and even command their units in the field.

When they return to the US, their crimes are honored, never punished and their clear violation of US law forgiven, never questioned even if, as is suspected to be the case, they continue to serve a foreign master while enjoying American citizenship.

For others, the “contractors,” American trained military serve around the world for a series of criminals and despots, engaged in unspeakable brutality for fat paychecks. Worst of all is Erik Prinz, now candidate for US Senate in Wyoming, whose Blackwater Group in its various guises has been the worse of the worst.

Each nation has their mercenaries, their war criminals, those who recruited ISIS fighters from 80 nations, who gave them travel papers, who supplied their modern American weapons, who protected them and their businesses.

ISIS partnered with a dozen governments, Turkey, Jordan, Ukraine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Romania, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan Georgia, India, Britain, Germany, Poland and others.

The American planes that supplied air cover for ISIS, where are those pilots? The Israeli and Turkish pilots as well? Who flew the helicopters that moved ISIS from place to place? Who sold them the Raytheon missiles? How were they delivered?

When ISIS stole entire factories and billion in antiquities, who marketed it all, who profited, who ran the London auction houses?

Who sent 12,000 oil trucks, more than half formerly licenses for American roads, to Iraq and Syria to move oil for ISIS? Did anyone ever suspect that ISIS was also Exxon, BP, Haliburton or Bechtel? We did.

Let’s talk about the Kurds who guarded the ISIS oil trucks as they loaded and drove through the capitol of Erbil and through Kurdish held Duhoc right into Turkey? Everyone involved is a terrorist, why are none of them blacklisted?

Americans who served in Afghanistan all saw the drug traffic there, watched the poppy fields planted, the fertilizer and irrigation projects by USAID that addicted and killed millions around the world. Where did the money go?

When the Panama Papers was published, why were records of the drug money included, money that included dozens of top US officials along with the few listed in Pakistan?

There are darker secrets, trade in nuclear material, in secret German submarines, looted economies, phony banks, real stories a hundred times worse than internet rumors, all true, all easily proven.

How about the spying going on, not just the monoliths of Google and Facebook, the real Mossad and CIA, a thousand times worse. What they do on a daily basis would make Orwell choke on his understatement.

When can we blacklist them, loot their stolen riches, return the freedoms taken, restore human rights, human privacy and freedom of thought?

Why don’t we begin in earnest? Blacklisting is hardly enough.

Is there anything more detestable than a war of aggression masquerading as liberation?

When I told my father, back in 1968, that I was joining the United States Marine Corps he responded: “I hope you aren’t going to claim you are doing this to defend your country. Nobody attacked us, look around, no Viet Cong here, this is Wall Street’s war like the last one and the one before it and the one before that.”

Everything my father predicted has come to pass, America as a deindustrialized police state with a clown in the White House, nothing new there. Anyone unware that Eisenhower was a useless puppet as was Ford and Reagan and Bush 43 and the monstrosity we have now, deserves the America we have earned. His generation, those who grew up before the First World War, those who experienced the Great Depression with eyes open, they knew it was coming.

Life in America was pure injustice, the lash and the iron boot, despite the version of history we have been given by the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations who “re-invented” America and its history through taking control of publiceducation in the late 1940s. You see, the multi-generational ignorance we bask in today is not unplanned. The threat represented by advances in communications and other technology was recognized and dealt with, utterly quashed at birth.

I recommend just a look at the Constitution itself. Why the “electoral college?” Few Americans know that the Senate was chosen, not elected, until the 20th century. Why two senators for states with no people? Why a Supreme Court? Those unaware that these unique aspects of America’s governmental organization need to read Charles Beard’s An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution (Columbia University Press, 1935).

There is nothing “democratic” about America and its government, the whole thing is a con. Election after election, every time Americans think they are voting to “drain the sewer” that Washington represents, only find themselves deeper in it. That was planned from the first also, but we are getting ahead of ourselves a bit.

Gordon’s roots in a lot of this go back to having a front row seat in what was really a fake war, and he never forgot it.

Today Americans are “defending democracy” in 6 dozen nations and, as predicted, invariably siding with tyrants, pushing a colonial agenda, there as bullies and thugs in uniform and doing so hiding behind the flag and the “honored dead.” I know this well because I was part of it.

When I served in Vietnam, there was no pretense that we were defending anything. Even in the elite combat unit I was in, the war itself was universally opposed as comic and absurd, it was impossible to miss. The Saigon government was beneath consideration, evil and corrupt, their military a useless pack of rabble compared to “the enemy,” the Viet Cong and NVA, relentless and highly motivated.

We were clearly fighting people who were defending their country from foreign invaders, the real enemy, “us.” Nations around the world are now doing the exact same thing and, under Trump, seemingly more each day.

The title statement is an amended quote from a 1960s-comic strip by Walt Kelly, called Pogo. It was famous once, used continually in one form or another. However, when American lost its sense of humor and began taking itself seriously, most likely sometime in the 1980s, all history, all balance, and certainly all real humor was forgotten. This is a boorish place. Let me explain.

For those of us who were born during the “post war baby boom,” the absurdity of patriotic rhetoric in response to the “red menace” poisoned our lives, polluted our educational experience, sickened our souls.

Even then, the reality of a government controlled by Wall Street was there to be seen. Higher education was unaffordable for all but the few, cities were dung heaps of filth and crime and America’s South was a land of starvation and poverty. Nearly half of all Americans lived in poverty, while the industrial workers of the North worked under conditions that made survival to retirement a pipe dream.

Every day my father would return from the Ford factory, describing 120-degree heat and air steeped in carcinogenic solvents. His friends and coworkers died in their 50s. By age 55, he had suffered half a dozen heart attacks and was on disability of $60 a month to support a family of 4. This is a common story, not an exception, this is how my generation grew up, mowing lawns, shoveling snow for money for shoes, working to support a family as early as 10. This is the American generation that went to Vietnam and it was the generation that taught the Pentagon that their games would not continue unopposed.

Today it’s different. The public questions little, those in the military question nothing. When America’s invading armies in Iraq and Afghanistan, under Bush never found WMDs or the massive underground terrorist fortresses Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld spoke of, what was the downside? Thousands of American military were killed over not just nothing but abject lies.

When billions in cash was stolen in both Iraq and Afghanistan, when 250,000 AK 47’s purchased by the US government for the Iraqi military simply disappeared, nobody saw it. When Haliburton Corporation furnished the US Army with drinking water taken unfiltered from the Euphrates River, one of the most polluted bodies of water on Earth, hundreds infected with Hepatitis and other diseases, nothing was said, certainly no congressional investigation, but the Pentagon was silent as well. Also silent were the troops in the field, silent then and still silent.

This is a huge change from Vietnam when those who returned home told everything.

Then again, back in 1969, I was a Marine, not a “war fighter” or a “warrior.” I made $100 a month, not $8000, I was fed 400 calories a day, not 7000, I had no PlayStation, no $400 boots and didn’t buy my combat gear from online outfitters. The life expectancy in a line unit was 3 months and nobody did year after year in a rifle squad as part of the “professional army.”

You know, with all that expensive gear and all that war fighter rhetoric, we still are beaten just as easily by poor people with broken weapons, poor people defending themselves against a foreign invader.

That part hasn’t changed, but back in 1969, we knew we had it coming. We still fought to survive, but we never fought to win. Win what? Nobody asks that anymore. Nobody every asks “why?”

En 1968, le Sénateur Démocrate Robert Kennedy, un candidat anti-guerre, était en tête de la course à la présidentielle. Gabbard est major de la Garde Nationale d’Hawaï, a servi à deux reprises en Irak et contrairement au général Michael Flynn, Tulsi Gabbard est un ancien combattant décoré et porte la Médaille Médicale de Combat.

Seuls ceux qui ont servi en combat actif sur le terrain ont le droit de porter cette décoration sur leur uniforme, tout comme leurs récompenses équivalentes, la médaille du fantassin combattant ou le ruban d’action de combat pour les Marines et la Marine, celle que je porte moi-même.

Flynn porte 4 médailles d’étoile de bronze pour « efficacité », mais n’a aucune expérience du combat, malgré le fait qu’il ne cesse de faire état de son expérience de « combattant pour son pays ». Je mentionne Flynn mais il y en a beaucoup d’autres dans ce cas. Même le très décoré Sénateur John McCain qui n’a passé que 14 minutes en l’air au-dessus du territoire ennemi avant de se faire descendre.

In 1968, Democratic Senator Robert Kennedy, an anti-war candidate, was the front-runner in the presidential race. The party had revolted against President Johnson, forcing him to drop out of contention, and America got behind an anti-war candidate who surged ahead in the polls. He was quickly murdered.

Americans had gotten used to this solution being used, after all we had lost his brother John and Martin Luther King. The least well-kept secret at the time was that organized crime along with the oil and defense industries ran Washington and would murder anyone that got in their way.

There are more players to consider but little has changed, no, it has actually gotten much worse. There is a modern day “Robert Kennedy” out there, it’s Tulsi Gabbard, under attack by the jackals in Washington, perhaps not a big enough target, not yet anyway, for them to kill. We must wait and see.

One member of congress, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, stands alone against those crying for war with Syria, Russia and Iran. Only Gabbard, has openly criticized President Trump for attacking Syria without evidence.

Gabbard is a major in the Hawaii National Guard, has served two tours in Iraq and unlike General Michael Flynn, Tulsi Gabbard is a decorated combat veteran and wears the Combat Medical Badge.

Only those who serve in active ground combat can wear this device on their uniform, as with its partner award, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge or the Combat Action Ribbon for Marines and Navy, a device I wear.

I March, 2017, Israel launched a series of air assaults on Syria. One attack near the ancient city of Palmyra brought about a series of events we will deal with today. The implications for modern warfare not only change the rules as we know them but expose hypocrisy at the heart of NATO policy.

This Israeli attack which may have brought about the downing of an IAF F15E aircraft by Syrian air defense missiles was allegedly intended, according to Israel, to stop Hezbollah from transferring advanced weapons to Lebanon. Those weapons would be used to resist an expected Israeli assault on that nation or to be used to retaliate against expected Israeli bombing of Beirut residential neighborhoods as seen during the 2006 war.

One issue, of course, is that there were no Hezbollah units within more than a hundred miles of Palmyra, instead Israel was, as has been the case over and over, flying air support for ISIS fighters under attack by the Syrian Army and its Russian allies.

Le sentiment de « déjà vu » est accablant, cette histoire est une répétition complète du conte  ‘Assad a utilisé du gaz toxique contre des civils à Ghouta’ en 2013.

L’histoire qui en impute la responsabilité à Assad, provient de l’Observatoire Syrien des Droits de l’Homme, un organe de désinformation d’une seule personne situé dans la banlieue de Coventry en Angleterre, dirigé par Rami Abdoul Rehman. Nous n’avons jamais vu de Turcs morts sur ces prétendues photos de l’Etat Islamique de chars détruits, ni de corps démembrés servant de trophées.

Au cours des derniers jours, d’après des reportages non vérifiés, l’Armée Turque est entrée dans la ville d’al Bab dans la province d’Alep au Nord de la Syrie, après avoir,  vaincu l’État Islamique au terme d’une bataille-éclair, alors que la Turquie avait déclaré pendant des mois que leurs forces, appelées « Armée Syrienne Libre » (ASL), étaient continuellement vaincues.
