The true origins of the two World Wars form a crucial part of our modern history, the truths of which have been deleted from all our history books and replaced with mythology blaming Germany. This article is a minor attempt to set straight part of the record. From the Introduction to the article 'The Anger Campaign Against China' (which should be read as a companion piece to this article):

 For one, it involves the treachery of the Zionist Jews in betraying Germany - which had been a rather happy home for the Jews - and scheming to obtain Palestine in trade for that betrayal. For another, few people seem aware that the Jews openly declared a worldwide war on Germany, well before the Second World War, the economic consequences of which were quite severe. The stated intention, by organising a worldwide boycott of all German goods, was to destroy Germany's economy and starve to death one-third of Germany's population - as punishment for refusing to bow to a Jewish ultimatum to fire Hitler (Germany's Chancellor) and to reinstate all Jews to their former government positions. Jews cannot escape the accusation that they themselves were responsible for the resentment within Germany against their own people.

Huolimatta meneillään olevasta, mutkikkaasta presidentti Trumpin virkasyytöstä koskevasta taistelusta republikaanit ja demokraatit laskivat senaatissa aseensa äänestääkseen lähes yksimielisesti ankarien sanktioiden määräämisestä North Stream 2:n rakennukseen osallistuville yhtiöille, putken joka kaksinkertaistaisi venäläisen kaasun kuljetuksen Saksaan Itämeren yli. Sieltä Venäjän kaasua toimitettaisiin Bulgariaan, Serbiaan ja muihin Euroopan maihin. Tämä on Venäjän vastaisku Yhdysvaltain menettelylle, joka onnistui pysäyttämään South Stream -putken vuonna 2014. South Streamin oli tarkoitus yhdistää Venäjä Italiaan Mustanmeren kautta ja maateitse Tarvisioon (Udineen). Silloin Italiasta olisi tullut EU:ssa vaihtoehtoinen kaasuntoimituspaikka, mistä koituisi merkittäviä taloudellisia etuja. Obaman hallinto onnistui romuttamaan projektin yhteistoiminnassa Euroopan Unionin kanssa.

Saipem-yhtiö (Italian Eni Group), johon taas kerran vaikuttivat Yhdysvaltain sanktiot North Stream 2:a vastaan, kärsi vakavasti South Streamin pysäyttämisestä – 2014 se menetti 2,4 miljardin euron arvoiset sopimukset, joihin olisi lisätty muita sopimuksia mikäli projekti olisi jatkunut. Mutta tuolloin kukaan Italiassa tai EU:ssa ei protestoinut Yhdysvaltain järjestämää projektin hautaamista vastaan. Nyt ovat kyseessä Saksan intressit, ja Saksassa ja EU:ssa kuullaan kriittisiä ääniä Yhdysvaltain North Stream 2 -sanktioista.

Mitään ei mainita siitä tosiasiasta, että Euroopan Unioni on tehnyt sopimuksen tuoda Yhdysvalloista  nesteytettyä maakaasua (LNG), jota eristetään bitumisesta liuskeesta tuhoavalla tekniikalla hyötysuunnassa (murtamalla). Hoewel ze vastzaten in een ingewikkelde strijd over de beschuldiging van president Trump, hebben de Republikeinen en Democraten in de Senaat de wapens neergelegd om, in quasi-unanimiteit, te stemmen voor het opleggen van zware sancties aan de bedrijven die deelnemen aan de bouw van North Stream 2, de verdubbeling van de gaspijpleiding die Russisch gas levert aan Duitsland over de Oostzee. De belangrijkste slachtoffers waren de Europese bedrijven die met het Russische bedrijf Gazprom hebben bijgedragen aan de financiering van het project van 11 miljard dollar. Het project is nu voor 80 % voltooid. Ook het Oostenrijkse bedrijf Omy, de Brits/Nederlandse Royal Dutch Shell, Frans Engie, de Duitse bedrijven Uniper en Wintershall, het Italiaanse Saipem en Swiss Allseas nemen deel aan de aanleg van de pijpleiding.

De verdubbeling van North Stream vergroot de afhankelijkheid van Europa van Russisch gas, waarschuwen de Verenigde Staten. Zij maken zich vooral zorgen over het feit dat de gaspijpleiding - door de Oostzee over te steken in wateren van Rusland, Finland, Zweden en Duitsland - zo de Visegradlanden (Tsjechië, Slowakije, Polen en Hongarije), de Baltische staten en de Oekraïne vermijdt. Met andere woorden, de Europese landen die via de NAVO de nauwste banden hebben met Washington (waaraan we Italië moeten toevoegen).

Het doel voor de VS is niet zozeer economisch, maar strategisch. Dit wordt bevestigd door het feit dat de sancties op North Stream 2 zijn opgenomen in de National Defense Authorization Act, de wet die het Pentagon voor het fiscale jaar 2020 de kolossale som van 738 miljard dollar geeft voor nieuwe oorlogen en nieuwe wapens (inclusief ruimtewapens), waaraan nog andere posten moeten worden toegevoegd die de militaire uitgaven van de VS op ongeveer 1.000 miljard dollar brengen. De economische sancties op North Stream 2 maken deel uit van een politiek-militaire escalatie tegen Rusland.

Een bijbedoeling is dat het Amerikaanse Congres niet alleen sancties heeft ingesteld tegen North Stream 2, maar ook tegen de Turk-Stream, die in de laatste fase van de realisatie Russisch gas over de Zwarte Zee naar Oost-Tracië, het kleine Europese gebied van Turkije, zal brengen. Dit is de Russische riposte naar de Amerikaanse actie die de South Stream-pijpleiding in 2014 heeft weten te blokkeren. South Stream was bedoeld om Rusland met Italië te verbinden via de Zwarte Zee en over land naar Tarvisio (Udine). Italië zou dus een schakelplatform voor gas in de EU zijn geworden, met opmerkelijke economische voordelen. De regering-Obama heeft het project met medewerking van de Europese Unie kunnen omzeilen.

South Stream sollte Russland durch das Schwarze Meer mit Italien und auf dem Landweg mit Tarvisio (Udine) verbinden. Italien wäre somit zu einem Umschlagsplatz für Gas in der EU geworden, was erhebliche wirtschaftliche Vorteile mit sich gebracht hätte. Die Obama-Administration konnte das Projekt in Zusammenarbeit mit der Europäischen Union ruinieren.

Das Unternehmen Saipem (italienische Eni-Gruppe), das erneut von den US-Sanktionen gegen North Stream 2 betroffen war, wurde von der Blockade von South Stream schwer getroffen - es verlor 2014 Aufträge im Wert von 2,4 Milliarden Euro, zu denen noch weitere Aufträge hinzugekommen wären, wenn das Projekt fortgesetzt worden wäre. Doch damals protestierte weder in Italien noch in der EU jemand gegen die Beerdigung des von den USA organisierten Projekts. Nun sind deutsche Interessen im Spiel, und in Deutschland und in der EU werden kritische Stimmen gegen die US-Sanktionen gegen North Stream 2 laut.

Es wird nichts darüber gesagt, dass die Europäische Union dem Import von verflüssigtem Erdgas (LNG) aus den USA zugestimmt hat, einem Extrakt aus bituminösem Schiefer durch die zerstörerische Technik der hydraulischen Frakturierung (Fracking). Um Russland zu schaden, versucht Washington, seine Gasexporte in die EU zu reduzieren und die europäischen Verbraucher zu verpflichten, die Rechnung zu bezahlen. Seit Präsident Donald Trump und der Präsident der Europäischen Kommission, Jean-Claude Juncker, im Juli 2018 in Washington die Gemeinsame Erklärung vom 25. Juli: Die Europäische Union importiert verflüssigtes Erdgas (LNG)  unterzeichnet hat die EU ihre LNG-Importe aus den USA verdoppelt, wobei sie die Infrastrukturen mit einem Anfangsaufwand von 656 Millionen Euro mitfinanziert hat. Although they were locked in a convoluted struggle concerning the impeachment of President Trump, Republicans and Democrats in the Senate laid down their arms in order to vote, in quasi-unanimity,  for the imposition of heavy sanctions on the companies participating in the construction of North Stream 2, the doubling of the gas pipeline which delivers Russian gas to Germany across the Baltic Sea. The main victims were the European companies which had helped finance the 11 billion dollar project with the Russian company Gazprom. The project is now  80 % finished. The Austrian company Omy, British/Dutch Royal Dutch Shell, French Engie, German companies Uniper and Wintershall, Italian Saipem and Swiss Allseas are also taking part in the laying of the pipeline.

The doubling of North Stream increases Europe's dependence on Russian gas, warn the United States. Above all, they are preoccupied by the fact that the gas pipeline – by crossing the Baltic in waters belonging to Russia, Finland, Sweden and Germany – thus avoids the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary), the Baltic States and Ukraine. In other words, the European countries which have the closest ties to Washington through NATO (to which we must add Italy).

Rather than being economic, the goal for the USA is strategic. This is confirmed by the fact that the sanctions on North Stream 2 are included in the National Defense Authorization Act, the legislative act which, for fiscal year 2020, hands the Pentagon the colossal sum of 738 billion dollars for new wars and new weapons (including space weapons), to which must be added other posts which bring the US military expenditure to approximately 1,000 billion dollars. The economic sanctions on North Stream 2 are part of a politico-military escalation against Russia.

An ulterior confirmation can be found in the fact that the US Congress has established sanctions not only against North Stream 2, but also against the Turk-Stream, which, in its final phase of realisation, will bring Russian gas across the Black Sea to Eastern Thrace,the small European area of Turkey. From there, by another pipeline, Russian gas should be delivered to Bulgaria, Serbia and other European countries. This is the Russian riposte to the US action which managed to block the South Stream pipeline in 2014. South Stream was intended to link Russia to Italy across the Black Sea and by land to Tarvisio (Udine). Italy would therefore have become a switch platform for gas in the EU, with notable economic advantages. The Obama administration was able to scuttle the project, with the collaboration of the European Union.

The company Saipem (Italian Eni Group), once again affected by the US sanctions against North Stream 2, was severely hit by the blockage of South Stream – in 2014, it lost contracts to the value of 2.4 billion Euros, to which other contracts would have been added if the project had continued. But at the time, no-one in Italy or in the EU protested against the burial of the project which was being organised by the USA. Now German interests are in play, and critical voices are being raised in Germany and in the EU against US sanctions against North Stream 2.

Nothing is being said about the fact that the European Union has agreed to import liquified natural gas (LNG) from the USA, an extract from bituminous shale by the destructive technique of hydraulic fracturation (fracking). In order to damage Russia, Washington is attempting to reduce its gas exports to the EU, obliging European consumers to foot the bill. Since President Donald Trump and the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, signed in Washington in July 2018 the Joint Statement of 25 July: European Union imports of U.S. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the EU has doubled its importation of LNG from the USA, co-financing the infrastructures via an initial expenditure of 656 million Euros. However, this did not save European companies from US sanctions.

Después haber excluido al gigante chino Huawei de las licitaciones para el despliegue ‎de la tecnología 5G, Estados Unidos prohíbe a los países europeos incrementar ‎sus compras de gas natural ruso. Si bien la exclusión de Huawei podría explicarse ‎como un esfuerzo por mantener la coherencia de la OTAN, prohibir a Europa ‎aprovisionarse con gas ruso no es una muestra de rusofobia sino la simple aplicación ‎de la «doctrina Wolfowitz», iniciada en 1992: no permitir que la Unión Europea ‎pueda convertirse en un competidor para el Imperio estadounidense. En ambos casos, ‎Estados Unidos impone sus propias decisiones a la Unión Europea y la mantiene en ‎una situación de dependencia.‎

La canciller alemana Angela Merkel y su ministro de Economía, Olaf Scholz, denuncian la ‎injerencia de Estados Unidos en las relaciones comerciales de los europeos.

Aunque están ‎ enfrascados en un encarnizado enfrentamiento alrededor de la eventual destitución ‎del presidente Donald Trump, republicanos y demócratas votaron casi unánimemente en ‎el Senado la adopción de duras sanciones contra las empresas que participen en el proyecto ‎‎Nord Stream 2, destinado a multiplicar por dos los volúmenes de gas ruso que llegan a ‎Alemania a través del Mar Báltico. Se verán afectadas las empresas europeas que participan en ‎ese proyecto –una inversión de 11 000 millones de dólares– ya terminado en un 80%, con ‎el gigante ruso Gazprom: la empresa austriaca Omy, la anglo-holandesa Royal Dutch Shell, ‎la francesa Engie, las alemanas Uniper y Wintershall, la italiana Saipem y la suiza Allseas que ‎tienen participación en la instalación de las tuberías. ‎

Estados Unidos estima que al multiplicarse por dos la capacidad de Nord Stream también ‎aumenta la dependencia europea del gas ruso. Pero lo que más preocupa a los estadounidenses ‎es que, al atravesar el Báltico pasando por aguas territoriales rusas, finlandesas, suecas ‎y alemanas, ese gasoducto evita los países del Grupo de Visegrado (la República Checa, ‎Eslovaquia, Polonia y Hungría), los países bálticos y Ucrania, o sea los países europeos ‎más atados a Washington a través de la OTAN –a los que se agrega Italia. ‎
