2016 was full of major international events, the consequences of which are going to affect future events for a long time.

Donald Trump’ victory in the US president elections

In our opinion, perhaps the most important event of this year was the election of Donald Trump to President of the United States of America.
The outcome of the US presidential election is seemed to have already been a foregone conclusion. Globalists-neocons embodied in Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton, supported by the current administration of President Barack Obama and transnational elites, did everything possible to prevent the possibility of conservative forces winning, represented by Republican Donald Trump.
However, the American people have decided otherwise, despite the fact that most of the American and world media was anti-Trump propaganda.

From the Russian media only Katehon was consistently predicting Trump’s victory. Our analysts had not just believed in his victory, but have predicted it, in fact, putting at stake their political reputation as being experts.
There is no doubt that in the new year of 2017 Trump’s effect will show itself fully and bring to the final collapse of the unipolar world.

Brexit as the beginning of the end of the European Union

Another important international event of the year was the referendum on the UK leaving the European Union, which took place on June 23rd 2016.
Almost 52% of inhabitants of the United Kingdom voted against the further stay in the European Union. Brexit’s victory caught globalists off guard. Despite all their attempts, such as blackmailing and threating, the Eurosceptics have won. British Prime Minister David Cameron, who advocated to further EU membership, after the referendum results announced, resigned immediately.
Anti-globalization and sovereignty forces, not only in Europe but throughout the whole world, welcomed the Brexit victory. According to US president-elect candidate Donald Trump, the British were able again to regain control of their country.
The referendum on Britain's membership of the EU was the first sign of the European Union's disintegration, the beginning of the end of liberal Atlanticist Europe. After Brexit, patriotic conservative forces in other European countries began to talk about the need to hold a similar national referendum.
For example, in France the National Front has gained popularity among the people. And its leader Marine Le Pen is today one of the most viable candidates for president in the upcoming spring 2017 presidential election.
In Germany, an alternative to the current liberal anti-German ruling party CDU led by Chancellor Angela Merkel could come from the right-wing conservative “Alternative for Germany”. This party advocates for a sovereign national course and against uncontrolled migration, which has in fact led to an emergency situation in the country due to the increase of crimes and the high threat of terrorist acts.
In Austria, the representative of the nationally oriented Freedom Party, Norbert Hofer, managed to win a landslide victory in the first round of presidential elections on April 22rd. Two weeks later a second round was held, during which the clash between Hofer and the Euro-Atlantistic protégé, former leader of the Greens, Alexander Van der Bellen, did not reveal the final winner due to the number of violations. However, the decisive battle took place on December 4th. Unfortunately, this time the conservative forces represented by Hofer were defeated. “Austria was unable to drain the swamp. The Austrians say “yes” Conchita Wurst”, as Alexander Dugin regretfully summed up the results of presidential elections in the country. Nevertheless, that a man representing patriotic and therefore anti-liberal and anti-globalization forces, could manage to participate in the second round of elections, shows new trends in European politics, which may be irreversible in the near future.
In Italy, the nationally oriented right-wing forces, represented by the party “League of the North "Matteo Salvini have also taken the course on sovereignty. On December 4th 2016 the country held a referendum on constitutional reform proposed by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, where 60% of citizens expressed their resolute opposition to further rule by the European bureaucracy’s protégés. Matteo Renzi resigned.
In 2017, parliamentary elections are going to be held in the Netherlands and the presidential elections will happen in France, during which nationally oriented sovereignty forces all have chances to win.
Similar trends are observed in other countries of the European Union. And Brexit and Trump’s effect is likely to entail irreversible consequences - negative for supporters of global domination and positive for humanity.

The migration crisis and terrorist attacks in Europe

Perhaps one of the most pressing and acute problems of European life was the influx of refugees from the Middle East and North African countries, in which once the globalists in the embodiment of the US ruling elite and its satellites from the European Union have brought "democracy" in the form of "color revolutions" and armed interventions.
The influx of migrants has become the most painful blow to the unity of Europe, professing the liberal course in national politics with identity suppression.
Along with the flow of illegal immigrants from the East, to whom Euro-liberals carefully opened their doors in their countries, a wave of crime hit Europe, begging, drug addictions, murders, and mass rapes of girls, such one as on the last New Year's Eve in Cologne, ending with the attacks with a large number of victims in Paris, Brussels, Nice, Berlin and other cities. In fact, it is no longer a secret, that under the guise of refugees in Europe, members of the most radical terrorist groups, "Islamic State" (ISIS, Daesh), "Al-Qaeda", "Dzhebhat en-Nusra", etc. These groups are prone to attack at any time.
Since March 22nd, at the airport and the subway of Brussels, ISIS terrorists made a series of bombings. Thirty-five were people were the Terrorists victims. A terrible act of terrorism took place on July 14th in Nice, France, where a truck driven by a migrant suicide bomber crashed into a crowd of people, who were celebrating the national holiday, Bastille Day. Eighty-six people were killed and 308 were injured. A similar tragedy occurred on December 19th at the Christmas market in Berlin, where, associated with the same ISIS, a native of Tunisia crashed into 12 people, and then disappeared quietly from the crime scene. Only four days later in Milan Italy did they manage to have find and destroy him.
The catastrophic situation with migrants also contributes to the popularity of right-wing conservative forces, which are ready to counter Euro-liberal political correctness and tolerance, and support adequate public policies relying on tradition, sovereignty and national interests.

Restoration of relations between Russia and Turkey

The events at the end of 2015 seems to have forever buried the partnership between Russia and Turkey. The incident on November 24rd 2015, when a Turkish F-16 fighter in the sky over the Syrian province of Latakia hit a Russian bomber Su-24. As a result, the death of the pilot, Lieutenant Colonel VKS Russia Oleg Peshkov, led to a rapid deterioration and intensification of relations between the countries..
In 2016, there was a serious reshuffling in the ranks of the ruling Turkish elite. They began on May 22nd when President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dismissed Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who he recognized to have personally given the order to destroy the Russian aircraft. Davutoglu changed who served as Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication Binali Yildirim.
The turning point in the normalization of bilateral relations between Ankara and Moscow was a letter written by Erdogan to Vladimir Putin on June 27th, in which the Turkish president apologized for the downed plane, expressed condolences to the family of the deceased pilot, Oleg Peshkov. Erdogan also vowed to punish those responsible and to do everything for the early restoration of friendly relations between countries.
Certainly, this turn does not suit forces interested to play off Russia and Turkey, in any case, to prevent rapprochement between these two countries. On the night of July 15th and morning of 16th in Turkey, there was a bloody military coup, whose aim was Erdogan’s removal from power. Largely due to the Russian security services, which the Turkish leader warned about the threat of a coup, patriotic forces loyal to Erdogan crushed the rebellion. This was followed by large-scale cleansing of the Turkish armed forces, police, government agencies - wherever adherents of Islamist sect Gülen (by the way, who is living now in the US) managed to firmly entrench, which with the direct involvement of the CIA, organized a coup.
The sufficient evidence of the involvement of the Obama administration to attempt a government coup was featured by the Turkish media. In particular, one of the strongholds of the rebels is a joint Turkish-US Incirlik Air Base, where according to some information, the activists were instructed by some "advisers" from Washington. The Turkish commander of the air base, and many of his subordinates involved in the events of July 15-16, were then arrested.
The pilots of the very same Turkish F-16 fighter, that shot down the Russian Su-24 were noted to have been among the detainees on charges of participation in the coup attempt.
One way or another, the coup marked a red line, after which began a marked cooling in relations between Ankara and Washington, and a rapid rapprochement with Moscow. On August 9th 2016 there was a meeting between Putin and Erdogan in St. Petersburg, during which an agreement was reached on the abolition of anti-Turkish sanctions imposed by Russia and the resumption of cooperation in all areas - from fighting terrorism to developing the tourism sector.

A fundamental change in Syria and the liberation of Aleppo

The restoration of relations between Turkey and Russia has contributed to a breakthrough in resolving the Syrian conflict. Despite fundamental differences on Syria, Moscow and Ankara have been able to agree on joint counteraction to ISIS terrorists that has changed the balance and alignment of forces in the region. On August 24th, Turkey began the operation " Euphrates Shield", which split the ranks of the pro-American forces, of the anti-Assad terrorists and so-called moderate opposition and Kurdish armed groups like the YPG. In many ways, this contributed to the successful operation of the Syrian army, with the support of the Armed Forces for the complete liberation of Aleppo from the Islamists, held in the first half of December.
The liberation of Aleppo became a strategic victory for Syria and Russia, against which even the loss of Palmyra (with great difficulty, freed from ISIS in late March) looks like a temporary tactical setback.
After the victory in Aleppo the further development of the situation in the direction of Islamists held Idlib, Raqqa or blocked Deirez-Zor should be expected. One way or another, but Aleppo was the “Syrian Stalingrad”, and laid the foundation for radical change of the situation in the country in favor of the legitimate government of Bashar al-Assad. Certainly, to talk about the complete victory over the terrorists still is very, very far away, and the path to it is not only through military successes, but also through pushing, strongly , and sometimes still making no progress in the diplomatic process.
With regard to the latter, in Astana a meeting between key players in the Middle East region with the leaders of Russia, Turkey, and Iran, has been scheduled for the beginning of 2017. According to some experts, in the future this summit will be able to neutralize the negotiation process on the side of the Western globalists players and replace the Geneva format.
All these successes could not continue without a treacherous and cowardly response from the organizers of Middle East chaos, that once again bet on the gap between Turkey and Russia. On December 19th 2016, in Ankara, Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was killed by nine shots in the back. The killer, a 22-year-old former policeman Mevlut Mert Altyntash said that the he did it as “revenge for Aleppo”. However, despite the cynical calculations of those who stood for this criminal (and according to Turkish political scientist Mehmet Perincek, not without the CIA, this casus belli would not happen).
According to Alexander Dugin, the murder of the Russian diplomat in Ankara was “globalists’ agony’, undertaken in order to provoke a military conflict.

“Trump’s effect" in Moldova and Bulgaria

The historical victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election was not the only event, which were important in November 2016. In two countries of Eastern Europe - the former Soviet bloc - the presidential elections were won by sovereignty forces.
On November 13th in 2016 there were presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova, which was a landslide victory of the Party of Socialists (MDBGS), Igor Dodon. Many have considered him and continue to consider as being the pro-Russian candidate. However, in our opinion, this is not entirely true. First of all, Dodon is a pro-Moldovan politician, defending the sovereignty of the former Soviet republic. The Opponents of Dodon are radically pro-Western liberals and Democrats focused on the transnationals and the globalists, and advocate the unification of Moldova with Romania, entering into NATO and the EU, and turning the country into another NATO base for an attack on Russia. The first steps of President Dodon gives hope for a close dialogue between Chisinau and Moscow, including on the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict.
Bulgaria is expected to change its political course and to improve relations with Russia. On November 13th, 2016 a nominee of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), a former Air Force Commander, Rumen Radev was elected as President. He is also considered as being Russophile. Moreover, Radev has already advocated the need for the speedy abolition of the anti-Russian sanctions. According to Tsargrad’s experts, his victory demonstrates the pro-Western elites disappointment with the Bulgarian people, those elites who dragged the country into the EU and NATO, and Rumen Radev gives hope for the resumption of a dialogue with brotherly Russia. This is especially important in view of the former, strongly anti-Russian course held by globalist stooge President Rosen Plevneliev.

The governmental coup in Brazil

Another very important event took place in Latin America. On May 12th, a pro-American coup was carried out in Brazil.
The Senate dismissed the country's legitimate president, representative of the Workers' Party Dilma Rousseff, accusing her of abusing powers. The interim Head of State became Vice President Michel Temer, who, according to WikiLeaks information, had been recruited by the CIA. On August 31st, the final Senate impeachment of Rousseff was announced, and Temer took office as President of Brazil. Supporters of independence, unfortunately, suffered a temporary defeat. However, after Donald Trump’s victory, Temer, which orientated on Hillary Clinton, does not expect anything good.
