The situation in the Donetsk People's Republic
remains tense.
Over the last day the Ukrainian security officers
194 times fired at the territory of the Republic. The enemy launched 47 mortar
shells of 120 mm caliber and 90 mortar shells of 82 mm caliber. Besides it was
fired from an anti-tank guided weapon, various types of grenade launchers and
small arms.
The following localities were subjected to shelling
by the Ukrainian security officers: Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Spartak,
Dokuchayevsk, Vesyoloye, Sakhanka, Kominternovo, the area of the airport and
the Petrovsky district of the city of Donetsk.
I want to point out that as a result of the another
criminal order of the military-political leadership of Ukraine today in the
afternoon the AFU 58th brigade attacked our positions near the
industrial zone of the locality of Avdeyevka. While repelling this attack two
DPR servicemen died and also one got wounded.
The Ukrainian units were forced to retreat on
initial positions and suffered losses. On the conscience of the AFU command
there are six killed military personnel and about 10 wounded.
While firing from the positions of the 72nd separate
mechanized brigade at the locality of Dokuchayevsk Popova Olga Sergeyevna born
in 1991 got wounded, and also four houses and the gas pipeline on Telman and
Lenin streets were damaged. The mortar fire was launched from the positions of
the AFU 7th howitzer battery of the 1st howitzer battalion of
the 72d separate mechanized brigade from the area of the locality of
Novotroitskoye. Our reconnaissance has established the performer of the
criminal order on firing of houses in Dokuchayevsk, this is the commander of
the AFU 1sthowitzer battalion of the 72d separate motorized brigade
the lieutenant colonel Gryzub.
Besides, as a result of firing from the positions of
the 57th separate motor-infantry brigade from the area of the
locality of Zhovanka on the locality of Zaitsevo one house on Maresyev St. 15
was damaged.
The criminal orders on firing of the DPR territory
were given by the brigade commanders of the 72d separate motorized brigade –
Sokolov, the 57th separate motor-infantry brigade – Krasilnikov,
the 58th separate motor-infantry brigade – Zabolotny, the 36th
separate motor-infantry brigade – Delyatitsky.
For each fact of firing there was opened an
investigation by the DPR Prosecutor General's Office.
Our reconnaissance continues recording the
concentration of the forbidden weapons and personnel of the enemy along the
line of contact. So, in the areas of the localities of:
- Novogrigorovka (3 km to the line of contact) there
was revealed the arrival of three self-propelled artillery systems, six tanks;
- Granitnoye (500 m to the line of contact) there
was detected the movement of two 152 mm self-propelled artillery systems
"Acacia", one MRLS “Grad”, five tanks, one multi-purpose
light-armored towing vehicle with a 120 mm mortar and the truck with
ammunition;
-Novosyolovka Vtoraya (8 km to the line of contact)
there was detected the arrival of four self-propelled artillery systems, two
towed 122 mm howitzers D-30, one MRLS “Grad” and one 100 mm anti-tank gun
"Rapira" from the locality of Mirnoye;
- Malovodnoye (12,5 km to the line of contact) there
was revealed the arrival and unloading at the railway station
"KICHIKSU" of four self-propelled artillery systems, two units of
MRLS “Grad” and one car with ammunition;
from the area of the locality of Ocheretino there is
planned the deployment of four vehicles and two units of ZSU-23-4 “Shylka” of
the AFU 1st antiaircraft artillery missile battery of the 58th separate
motor-infantry brigade to the first line of defense to overrun a position in
the forest area near the locality of Vasilyevka and to fire from the most short
distance at the locality of Yasinovataya. The vice-commander of the AFU air
defense missile battalion of the 58th separate motor-infantry
brigade the senior lieutenant Chizhik is in charge of deployment of equipment
and the usage of arms;
to the area of the locality of Avdeyevka, to the
headquarters of the AFU 16th separate mororized battalion of
the 58 separate motor-infantry brigade for the specification of tasks there
arrived two reconnaissance groups from among the ranks of the AFU 74th separate
reconnaissance battalion. After receiving tasks these groups moved forward to
the line of contact for the organization of reserved observation posts. The
coordination of actions of the sabotage-reconnaissance groups in the zone of
responsibility of the 16th battalion is carried out by the lieutenant
Korystashev;
to the zone of responsibility of the AFU 1
mechanized battalion of the 54th separate motorized brigade
there arrived the military personnel of the "Right Sector", there
movement to the line of contact for shelling of the territory of the DPR is
noted.
The activity of the Ukrainian security officers in
the "anti-terrorist operation" zone shows the preparation of the AFU
command for large-scale provocations.
Our investigation continues recording none-combat
losses in the AFU units as a result of the conflicts with nationalists. In
particular, as a result of firefight at night from the 24th to May 25 near the
locality of Krasnoarmeisk between the nationalists of OUN who are formally a
part of the 81st brigade and the military personnel of the
company tactical team of the AFU 90th aviation battalion of the 81st separate
aviation brigade two fighters died and eight got wounded.
The evacuation of the
wounded and died military personnel is carried out to the hospital named after
Mechnikov in Dnepropetrovsk. The SBU initiated the investigation of this incident
.
At the moment in the DPR there takes place the
command and staff training under the leadership of the Minister of Defense
Kononov V.P. with the involvement of representatives of MGB, the Ministry of
Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The training started
on May 25 and will finish today. During joint exercises the counteraction the
enemy's sabotage-reconnaissance groups, and also the management of the units of
law enforcement agencies while defending the Republic during the repel of
aggression of the enemy are fulfilled.
