Protests are being held in New York, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Seattle, Portland, Oregon, and Austin. The organizers are also planning to hold protest marches in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Oakland.

Color revolution?

Such a scenario is identical to what has happened in countries that became victims of so-called “color revolutions.” Following elections, a portion of the population controlled by global elites through NGO networks comes out onto the streets to organize long rallies and create tent cities in central squares.

How could this end?

If authorities show signs of malleability in the situation noted above, then protests of a relatively peaceful transition turn into armed clashes with the police. Suddenly, small arms are found in the hands of protesters, and people are killed. Moreover, the media aggravate the situation to its breaking point, and then it comes to storming government buildings and killing or expelling the legitimate leadership of the country.

It is important to remember that the United States differs from the majority of countries where color revolutions have taken place by virtue of the abundance of weapons in the hands of its population. This factor could play in favor of the newly elected president, but also against him.
