Syrian
Forces Aided by Russian Airpower Maintain Eastern Aleppo Siege
by Stephen Lendman
Syrian forces have
US-supported Eastern Aleppo terrorists trapped under siege - their supply lines
cut.
Efforts by thousands of
other death squad fighters to break through failed, heavy casualties suffered
in attempts for the past 10 days.
Sputnik News cited a Russian RIA
Novosti correspondent, saying terrorists remain surrounded in eastern and
southeastern Aleppo.
Heavy fighting continues.
Supply lines remain severed. Government forces control them. Reports alleging
US-supported cold-blooded killer “rebels” broke through are falsified.
Over 2,000 terrorists were
killed in the last 10 days alone, according to Syrian sources. Multiple
breakthrough attempts were repelled, Russian airpower the key factor in battle
- hammering terrorist fighters Washington calls “moderate rebels.” None exist.
Western media falsely
reported a nonexistent Saturday “rebel” breakthrough - including a deplorable
BBC propaganda piece I heard earlier this morning, no credible facts backing
its assertions.
The State Department looks
for any chance to tout “rebel” advances against government held positions. A
spokesman said “(w)e’ve seen reports, but the situation is fluid and we aren’t
going to provide battlefield updates” - code language for US-supported
terrorists getting hammered, Russian and Syrian forces maintaining the upper
hand.
On Sunday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) emphatically
“stressed that these terrorist groups haven’t been able to break the siege
imposed on the terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, indicating
that the mass media which (are) involved in shedding the Syrian’s blood (are)
launching a wide psychological war through broadcasting tens of fabricated
photos and videos to affect the morale of the citizens and mislead the public
opinion and to cover the large numbers of the killed and injured terrorists in Saturday’s
battles.”
Syria’s anti-imperial
struggle will continue as long as Washington wants war, not peace. If Hillary
succeeds Obama, all bets are off, escalated war virtually certain.
Perhaps one or two million
Syrians will die before things end, victims of US viciousness - media
scoundrels cheerleading its high crimes.
